The latest attempt by our government to tell us how to live, how to do business, and how to control things is to take over the newspapers. Even worse, we are going to pay them to do it. How you ask?

Government subsidization of newspapers. Best of all they want to tax the use of the internet, cell phones, and email to collect the funds. You see technology is killing newspapers so they feel the need to slow things down. That’s what the FTC thinks anyways. Did anyone help horse stables when the automobile replaced the horse and buggy. How about blacksmiths, where they helped as technology advanced?

So what’s the big deal, the government is going to help newspapers in financial trouble? The trouble is they are going to choose who to save. Is this going to be objective, has any of these government bailout’s been objective?
